The SHAKTI Bench Top Roller Lab extruder is a small table-top
device that provides the researcher and new product developer a means to
quickly evaluate the effectiveness of fine granulation by extrusion. It
can also be used for initial formulation development. In case, time and
money are saved because the product generated is indicative of that
produced in a full-scale production system.
The
laboratory granulator conserves valuable resources. Only a small amount
of research material, sometimes only 100 grams per batch, is needed to
obtain a good evaluation.
